Can I customise my dashboard?

Yes, you can! To customise your dashboard navigate to People > Administrators and click on the relevant profile. You can then find the button “Configure Dashboard” on the toolbar. Alternatively, when logged in, you can click in the top-right corner of your screen and select 'Account'.

Configure your dashboard to show the relevant information you are looking for

To edit the panels on your dashboard simply move the sections from the right side into the left to show them on the Dashboard. If a section has half-width, then you should put it beside another half-width panel to prevent blank space.

Can I remove panels from my dashboard/reset my dashboard?

Yes, simply move a panel to the right-hand column to have it not show up on your dashboard. If at any time you wish to reset your dashboard to the default, simply click 'Reset Dashboard' on the Configure Dashboard page.

What is a Custom Dashboard Panel?

You can add a Custom Dashboard panel to your admin dashboard to show a filtered list of activity that goes on inside TutorCruncher. For instance, you may want to have a Dashboard panel that shows you all activity relating to tutors, such as tutor profile creation or editing.

How can I create custom dashboard panels?

You can create a custom dashboard panel by going to your profile and clicking 'Customise Dashboard' or clicking the cog next to 'Dashboard' in the menu. Once you are there you'll be able to see a list of your current dashboard panels, along with a button at the top of the list of panels for 'Add custom panel'. Once there, you'll be able to choose from a list of Actions that you want to be displayed on your dashboard in the Custom Panel.

What do 'templates' mean in the Custom Dashboard panel?

We've given you some default templates to use for the actions that we think you may want to display in your custom dashboard panel. For instance, if you choose 'Activity to do with Lessons', we'll show you all of the activity that is to do with lessons. Adding, editing, deleting a lesson, and marking it as complete are just a few examples.

Why are there no tasks being displayed on my dashboard?

The tasks that are shown on the dashboard are ones that are overdue, or due on today's date. Future tasks will not be displayed here.
