When you click the 'Connect to Stripe' button on TutorCruncher, you will be redirected to Stripe’s website. There, you can create a new Stripe account by filling out your business details, including your email address, phone number, business address, industry, and other information.
After entering these details, you will be taken to Stripe's ID verification page, where you will be asked to upload your documents. You can use any government-issued ID, such as your passport or driving license.
Verifying your identity on Stripe.
Once you click on 'Upload Document,' you will be prompted to select a verification method. You can choose one of the following options:
Automated Verification: Biometric fingerprint technology will use your ID card, images, and other data sources to verify your identity. This process typically takes only 1-2 minutes.
Manual Verification: A qualified specialist will verify your ID card and selfie. This process can take up to 2-3 days.
Verifying your identity on Stripe.
Once you have verified your identity on Stripe, you will be redirected back to your TutorCruncher dashboard. Next, you will need to book a call with one of our team members to complete a video verification process.
Completing the video verification process.
During this 10-minute call, we will ask you 4-5 questions about your business. Following this, your Stripe account will be linked up and ready to receive card payments from your Clients.
