The Online Payments section is a dedicated area located in the main left-hand menu that brings together everything related to your Stripe account. It replaces the old Stripe pages that were previously found under System > Settings.
Note: Online Payments is only available to companies on TutorCruncher's current Stripe system. If you are on a legacy Stripe setup or use GoCardless, your payment settings remain under System > Settings. The Online Payments menu appears as soon as Stripe is enabled on your branch, even before you have completed your account setup.
Permissions
Access to the Online Payments section is controlled by the following permissions:
Accounting View - required to see the Online Payments menu and access the Payments, Payouts, and Account pages.
Accounting Edit - required to access the Disputes page. Not available to demo accounts.
Accounting Export - required to download payout CSVs and the bank-feed export.
Payments
The Payments page shows a full, paginated list of all card payments received from your clients. Each row displays:

You can filter the payments list using the Filter button. Available filters include date range, client, amount range, and status. If your branch has bank transfers enabled, a payment method filter will also appear. Active filters display as removable chips at the top of the list.
Payouts
The Payouts page shows all payouts from Stripe to your bank account, paginated 20 per page.

Clicking any payout opens a payout details pop-up showing all the individual payments that made up that payout, with amounts listed in a table. If you have the Accounting Export permission and your account uses automatic payouts, a Download CSV button is available in the pop-up footer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why Can I see Online Payments if I'm not using Stripe?
The Online Payments menu appears even before you have connected a Stripe account. During this phase, the menu items will route you to the Connect to Stripe signup flow rather than live data pages. Once your account is active, all pages become fully available.
For guidance on creating a Stripe account, see Getting Started with Stripe.
