Note: Your Tutors can only sign up for a Stripe payouts account if you have a Stripe account set up for your company and have this feature enabled for them. If you wish to know how you can create a Stripe account as an agency, please refer this article.
What is a Stripe payouts account?
A payouts account with Stripe allows Tutors to be paid automatically upon payment of an Invoice by a Client. Tutor payouts accounts are needed for Split Payments to work on Jobs.
How can my Tutors sign up for a payouts account with Stripe?
Simply navigate to the Tutor's profile via People > Tutors and send them a Payouts Account Sign Up Request found in the 'Accounting' section of their profile.

The Tutor will then receive an email asking them to create their payouts account. They can follow the link in the email which will take them to their TutorCruncher account. They need to simply navigate to the 'My Profile' section of their Tutor dashboard and click the Sign up now button within the 'Payouts Account' panel.

They will then be redirected to Stripe's website, where they can sign up by filling in and then reviewing their details. They will then be redirected back to their Tutor dashboard on submission, and the account will automatically be linked to TutorCruncher.

Note: Tutors will have one Payouts account shared across all of their profiles with TutorCruncher.
How can my Tutor view their payouts account details?
Ask your Tutor to simply navigate to the 'My Profile' section of their Tutor dashboard and select the View details button found within the 'Payouts Account' panel. This will open their payouts account panel, from where they can view a schedule of their upcoming and previous payouts, view their payouts account as it appears in Stripe, trigger a manual payout or adjust their automatic payout date.

How and when does my Tutor receive funds into their bank account?
Once the Client pays their Invoice, it takes seven days for the money to reach the Tutor's Stripe payouts account. Once there, the funds in their Stripe account will be automatically paid out at the next automatic payout date. If needed, they can also trigger a manual payout, which will transfer all available funds from their Stripe account into their bank account.
How can my Tutor trigger a manual payout?
Tutors can request a manual payout once per calendar month by navigating to their profile and selecting View details option under Payouts Account. Here, there is an option to trigger a manual payout which will transfer all available funds from their Stripe account into their bank account.

How long does it take to receive funds into my bank account after initiating a manual payout?
Manual payouts can take up to three business days to get to the Tutor's bank account.
How can a Tutor change the automatic payout date?
Tutors can change the day of the month Stripe automatically pays them by navigating to the 'My Profile' section of their Tutor dashboard before selecting the View details button within the 'Payouts Account' panel and clicking the Change Payout day button. From there, they will be able to adjust the automatic payment date.

Can my Tutor export their transaction history from their Stripe account?
Yes - when viewing their payouts account within Stripe, Tutors can select the Export button found within the 'Transactions' section. Selecting this will generate a CSV file that can be downloaded and should provide them with more clarity on their payments.
Can a Tutor sign up for a Stripe payouts account if they have an international bank account?
They can indeed! They just need to make sure that the address linked to their TutorCruncher profile matches that of the location of where their bank is located internationally.
How can my Tutor receive funds into their international bank account?
If your Tutor has an international bank account linked to their Stripe payouts account, then they can only manually request a payout once a month. They will also incur a 1% Stripe conversion fee to exchange the branches currency to their own. Details of this will be provided within their payouts accounts panel when initiating the payout.
How can my Tutor change their bank account details on Stripe?
Tutors need to simply navigate to the 'My Profile' section of their Tutor dashboard and select the View details button found within the 'Payouts Account' panel. Then click on 'View Account in Stripe' which will take them to their account on Stripe. Once there, click the Profile icon on the top right hand corner and they can then update their bank account details via the 'Payout Details' section.
